The United States has announced that it will provide an estimated $500 million worth of military equipment to support Ukraine, about a month before President-elect Donald Trump takes office.

The United States will provide another large shipment of equipment and weapons to our Ukrainian partners who desperately need them as they defend themselves against continued attacks from Russia,’ US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said in a statement, according to AFP.
