An earthquake measuring 3.7 on the Richter scale shook Salahuddin province today, without causing any human or material losses.The centre of the quake was 17 kilometres south of al-Sharqat district, the Iraqi Meteorological Department said in a statement, noting that it was felt by citizens living in areas near al-Sharqat.
The quake comes a day after another 4.5-magnitude earthquake struck Salaheddine province. There have been no reports of human casualties or material damage as a result of the quake.
