Bouznik Meeting: Morocco Supports the Formation of a National Unity Government in Libya

A consultative meeting between the Libyan House of Representatives and the High Council of State began today, Wednesday, in the Moroccan city of Bouznika, aiming to find a solution to end the duality of Libyan institutions.
Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita confirmed that the meeting seeks to support Libya in forming a national unity government that reflects the will of the Libyan people, emphasizing that the solution must be Libyan-led without foreign intervention.
These meetings are part of Morocco’s ongoing efforts to facilitate dialogue between the Libyan parties, as it has previously hosted several rounds of talks on the election law. These efforts aim to resolve the political crisis between the two rival governments in the country.
