The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported on Wednesday that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli war, which has lasted for over a year, has risen to at least 45,097.

In its statement, the ministry added that 38 more fatalities were recorded in the past 24 hours and transferred to hospitals. It also noted that the total number of wounded since the war began on October 7, 2023, has reached 107,244.
