Washington announced today, Thursday, the allocation of an additional $200 million to address the humanitarian crisis in Sudan, bringing the total U.S. aid to $2.3 billion.
U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated that the United States, in cooperation with its partners, has been working to provide assistance to Sudan, where ongoing fighting between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces has continued for more than 18 months, displacing over 12 million people.
