Ugandan People’s Defense Forces Leader Renews Threats to Invade Khartoum

Moezzi Museveni, leader of the Ugandan People’s Defense Forces, renewed his threats to invade Khartoum after his government apologized for similar statements.

On X, Museveni stated, “If my father orders us to take control of Khartoum, we will do it tomorrow.”

These comments followed a Sudanese Foreign Ministry statement welcoming the Ugandan government’s apology regarding the defense leader’s remarks about invading Khartoum with U.S. support.
