Assassination of Three Alawite Judges in Hama Countryside: Rising Violence in Syria

Unknown gunmen assassinated three Alawite judges while they were traveling in a tourist vehicle near the Al-Rabi’a junction in the western Hama countryside, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

This incident marks the first of its kind targeting judges since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s regime, occurring under mysterious circumstances with no group claiming responsibility.

According to the Observatory’s statistics, 66 crimes have been committed since the regime’s fall across various Syrian provinces, resulting in the deaths of 106 individuals, reflecting the escalating violence amid a lack of stability.
