The Super Devoly resort in the French Alps experienced terrifying moments on Christmas Day, as 240 people, including children, became trapped in a ski lift due to an electrical failure.

The incident occurred around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, prompting the mobilization of dozens of gendarmerie and firefighters. They arrived with two fire trucks and a rescue team from the local prefecture.

According to local media reports, rescue teams managed to reach the trapped individuals and free them after a lengthy wait in the air.
