The prosecutor of Kazakhstan’s Aktau city, Abylaybek Ordabayev, has announced that the two black boxes from the Azerbaijan Airlines plane that crashed in Kazakhstan have been found.
Investigations at the site are continuing in cooperation with Azerbaijan, Ordabayev said in a press statement on Friday.
Work is continuing to collect evidence and take statements from survivors of the crash, he said, adding that security had cordoned off 4,000 square metres of the crash site.
Azerbaijani media reported on Wednesday that a plane belonging to the airline had crashed with 62 passengers and five crew members on board.
