China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Friday issued a decision on countermeasures against seven US military companies and key US executives involved.

The seven companies targeted by the decision are Insitu, Hudson Technologies, Sharonic Technologies, Raytheon Canada, Raytheon Australia, Eircom and Oceaneering International.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said in a regular press briefing that China’s move follows the recent announcement by the US of a new package of military aid and major arms sales to the Taiwan Province of China, as well as the US National Defence Authorisation Act for Fiscal Year 2025, which contains several negative sections on China.

These measures seriously violate the one-China principle and the three China-US joint statements, interfere in China’s internal affairs and undermine China’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity, she added.
