The new head of administration in Syria, Ahmed al-Shara, met today, Monday, with a high-level Ukrainian delegation headed by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha.
The Ukrainian delegation included the Minister of Agriculture and Special Envoy of the Ukrainian President, Maksym Solakh, along with the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The new Syrian foreign minister emphasized the establishment of a strategic partnership between Syria and Ukraine covering political, economic, and social fields.
For his part, the Ukrainian foreign minister announced the delivery of additional food aid shipments to Syria as part of a humanitarian program initiated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who recently confirmed sending 500 tons of wheat flour to support the Syrian people.
