The Council of Research and Sharia Studies of the Libyan Ifta House issued a statement authorizing the transmission of zakat al -Fitr to the people of Ghza, due to the difficult humanitarian conditions they live due to the Israeli blockade.
The statement emphasized that the transfer of zakat to those who desperate the need of Muslims is a permissible matter according to the doctrine of the two Imam Malik and Abu Hanifa, based on this to the Almighty saying: “The charity of the poor and the two are the ones.”
He pointed out that the poor of Gaza face exceptional conditions that require urgent support and support.
