39 Palestinians Killed, Over 100 Injured by Israeli Fire Near Aid Centers in Southern Gaza

The Gaza Civil Defense reported Sunday that 39 Palestinians were killed and over 100 others injured by Israeli gunfire near two humanitarian aid distribution centers in southern Gaza, as the war enters its 22nd month.

Spokesman Mahmoud Basal stated that the deadly attacks took place near one center in Khan Younis and another north of Rafah, where civilians had gathered to receive essential supplies.

Rescue teams faced extreme danger while recovering bodies and transporting the wounded, amid ongoing bombardment and severe restrictions on movement.

This latest incident adds to the mounting humanitarian toll in Gaza, where civilians continue to suffer under prolonged siege, widespread destruction, and limited access to food, water, and medical aid.
