Sudanese Rapid Support Forces attacked the Abu Shouk IDP camp in Darfur, killing at least 40 civilians, according to local relief teams.

Witnesses said forces opened fire inside homes and streets, amid famine in the camp and ongoing conflict between the Sudanese army and Rapid Support Forces since April 2023.
