The Belgian capital, Brussels, witnessed another shooting incident that resulted in the death of a man, marking the fourth such event within a week and raising growing concerns about escalating violence among drug gangs.

The incident occurred in the Peterbos neighborhood of Anderlecht, where police found a man with a gunshot wound, and his identity has not yet been revealed.

The Brussels public prosecutor’s office confirmed that preliminary investigations suggest the crime may be linked to a settling of scores between rival gangs.
