U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Sunday his commitment to purchase and own Gaza, indicating the possibility of giving parts of it to other countries in the Middle East.

Trump stated, “I will turn Gaza into a good site for future development.” He emphasized that he would work to protect the Palestinians and ensure they are not subjected to violence, in addition to discussing individual cases of Palestinian refugees entering the United States.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the proposal, calling it “revolutionary,” while Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan rejected the plan, asserting that Palestine belongs to the Palestinians.
