The World Government Summit 2025 (WGS 2025) kicked off today in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, under the theme ‘Foreseeing the Governments of the Future’.

The three-day Summit brings together heads of state, more than 80 international and regional organisations and global institutions, as well as global thought leaders and experts.

The first day will feature a series of sessions discussing future trends in government and key sectors, such as ‘The Next Economic Revolution with an African Vision’, ‘Governments in the Age of Artificial Intelligence’ and ‘Can we create a more connected world?

The Summit will also host several forums, including the Government Expertise Exchange Forum, the Government Services Forum and the Future of Mobility Forum.
