Russia and Sudan have reached an agreement regarding the establishment of a Russian military base on the shores of the Red Sea, as announced by Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Yusuf during his visit to Moscow.
Yusuf confirmed that all details regarding the construction of the base have been agreed upon.
The agreement, which allows for the simultaneous reception of 4 ships and accommodates 300 military and civilian personnel, has raised concerns from the United States and other countries that view the base as a threat to international security.
