A suicide attack on Afghanistan’s Ministry of Urban Development and Housing on Thursday killed one person and wounded three others, a spokesman for the Taliban government said.

The suicide bomber was trying to enter the ministry and was shot by a soldier and as a result of the explosion another person was killed near him and three others were wounded,’ Interior Ministry spokesman Abdul Matin Qani told AFP.

ISIS claimed responsibility for a suicide bombing that killed eight people outside a bank in northern Afghanistan on Tuesday.
