President Donald Trump’s administration has fired more than 300 staff at the National Nuclear Security Agency (NNSA) as part of the White House’s recent anti-corruption campaign, CNN reported.
“Some Trump administration officials fired more than 300 employees Thursday evening from the National Nuclear Security Agency (NNSA), which is tasked with managing the country’s nuclear stockpile,” the network said.
For his part, a spokesman for the U.S. Department of Energy denied the number of laid-off employees and stressed that “fewer than 50 people have been laid off”
