On Friday, U.S. President Donald Trump stated that his plan for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip is “successful,” but he will not impose it by force, indicating that he will limit himself to providing recommendations.
In an interview with Fox News Radio, he expressed surprise at Jordan and Egypt’s rejection of the reconstruction plan, despite the American aid both countries receive.
In another context, Trump argued that it is not necessary for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to participate in any negotiations to end the conflict with Moscow, emphasizing the “need for him to move quickly, or else he will have no country left.”
