Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will visit Iran on Tuesday to discuss the situation in Syria with his Iranian counterpart, the Tasnim news agency reported on Saturday.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei announced that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will visit Iran this week.

He noted that the Russian Foreign Minister’s visit to Tehran comes within the framework of ongoing consultations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Russian Federation on bilateral relations and regional and international developments.
