Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa will visit Jordan on Wednesday and meet King Abdullah II to discuss strengthening ties between the two countries, two Jordanian officials said on Monday, Reuters reported.

Al-Sharaa has received an official invitation to attend the Arab summit in Cairo on 4 March, which will be dedicated to the Gaza Strip, following a plan put forward by US President Donald Trump, the Syrian presidency said yesterday.
