On Monday, Saudi Arabia launched its first industrial city dedicated to aircraft manufacturing and maintenance in Jeddah.

The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources announced this during the Aviation Industry Forum held in Jeddah, which discusses infrastructure development and R&D support to attract local and international investors.

The first license was granted to Middle East Aircraft Engines Company, while Saudi Airlines Engineering and Manufacturing Company received the second license.
