The Russian defence ministry has announced that it has bombed Ukrainian military airfield infrastructure with high-precision weapons and drones.

Russian forces are continuing their attacks against Ukraine, the ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.

The Russian armed forces launched an aerial attack on the infrastructure of military airfields in Ukraine with high-precision weapons and drones, and the attack achieved its goal,’ the statement said, without specifying the locations of those airfields.

Since the beginning of the war, ‘656 planes, 283 helicopters, 44,431 drones, 596 anti-aircraft missile systems, 21,734 tanks and armoured vehicles of the Ukrainian army have been destroyed’, the statement said.
