Israeli Channel 13 reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will hold security consultations tonight regarding hostages and the resumption of military operations following the end of the ceasefire.
A security source indicated that the Israeli occupation has rejected withdrawal and ending the war, while mediators have requested more time to resolve the crisis.
On the other hand, Israeli sources confirmed that Hamas is seeking to move towards ending the war and the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation from the Gaza Strip.
Egypt announced on Thursday the start of negotiations for the next phase of the ceasefire agreement between the occupation and Hamas in Cairo, in a step aimed at reaching an agreement to extend the first phase of the ceasefire in Gaza for an additional 42 days.
