Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that his country is ready to sign a mineral agreement with the United States, just days after leaving the White House without signing it.

The agreement was set to be signed following a meeting between Zelensky and President Trump; however, the meeting experienced a public altercation that resulted in the cancellation of the deal.

Trump stated on the Truth Social platform that Zelensky is not ready for peace as long as America is involved in the negotiations, indicating that he seeks peace rather than an advantage in the talks.

Zelenskyy’s remarks came after a summit in the United Kingdom regarding a ceasefire in Ukraine.
