The Pakistani army has killed 16 militants, , as they tried to storm an army barracks in the Bannu area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwest Pakistan.
A statement issued by the army’s media wing said that a group of terrorists tried to storm an army barracks in Bannu area by ramming two car bombs into the walls of the barracks at Iftar time last night, adding that security forces responded strongly to the attack and managed to eliminate all the attackers, including four suicide bombers, and four security personnel were also killed.
