Hundreds of doctors with degrees from outside the European Union in France have begun a three-day hunger strike to protest what they describe as “unfair working conditions.”

Despite President Emmanuel Macron’s government’s commitment to providing them with more protection, many of these doctors still earn three times less than their colleagues with European qualifications.

Approximately 300 doctors are participating in this strike, which aims to secure greater job protection for the “Badiou” group.
