Over 100,000 Protest in Belgrade Against Corruption

More than 100,000 people gathered in the streets of Serbia’s capital, Belgrade, in a massive anti-corruption march, marking the peak of ongoing protests against President Aleksandar Vučić and his government.

The march, dubbed “15 for 15,” was held in memory of the victims of a concrete canopy collapse at the Novi Sad train station four months ago, which claimed 15 lives.

Vučić announced the arrest of about 22 individuals on charges of inciting violence and vandalism.
