Libya Deports Undocumented Nigerian Migrants for Legal Violations

The Libyan Illegal Migration Control Agency deported a group of undocumented Nigerian migrants on Tuesday morning after completing the necessary legal procedures for their removal. The deportation was carried out due to violations of Libyan immigration laws.

The migrants were deported via Mitiga International Airport in Tripoli in coordination with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) as part of the voluntary return program. The group included women and children, who were provided with essential care before their departure.

This step is part of Libya’s ongoing efforts to regulate and control illegal migration in accordance with national laws and international agreements. The agency had previously deported migrants of various nationalities as part of continuous efforts to curb the influx of undocumented migrants and maintain security and stability in the country.
