Severe Flooding in Southern Spain Forces Hundreds to Evacuate

Torrential rainfall in southern Spain has caused flash floods, leading to the evacuation of 365 homes in Campanillas, near Málaga in the Andalusia region. Several roads and schools have also been closed due to severe flooding.

Authorities have placed 19 rivers on high alert as rising water levels increase the risk of further damage in affected areas.

Heavy rainfall has persisted for the third consecutive week, resulting in the disappearance of at least two people and forcing hundreds of residents to evacuate. Concerns are growing over worsening conditions as water levels continue to rise.
