Israeli police reported a double attack at a bus station southeast of the occupied city of Haifa, resulting in the death of a 75-year-old Israeli settler and serious injuries to an Israeli soldier.

The attack involved an attempted vehicle ramming followed by a stabbing and shooting.

Media reports indicated that the assailant was a Palestinian holding Israeli citizenship, who was killed after carrying out the attack, having used a weapon taken from the Israeli soldier.
