U.S. Treasury Imposes Sanctions on Hezbollah Support Network in Lebanon

The U.S. Treasury Department announced today sanctions against a complex network based in Lebanon that evades international sanctions to support Hezbollah.

The measures target five individuals and three companies that provide financial and logistical support to the party’s funding team.

The network uses front companies to generate significant revenue for Hezbollah. Notably, Rashid Qassem Al-Bazzal, brother of prominent leader Mohammad Qassem Al-Bazzal, is among those designated.

Additionally, the U.S. State Department announced a reward of up to $10 million for information leading to Hezbollah’s financial mechanisms.
