The UAE announced the success of its mediation efforts between Russia and Ukraine, resulting in the largest prisoner exchange since the conflict began.

The exchange involved 246 prisoners from the Ukrainian side and 246 from the Russian side, along with the transfer of several injured individuals, including 31 Ukrainian and 15 Russian casualties.

This brings the total number of prisoners exchanged between the two countries to 3,771.
