Kremlin Announces Ceasefire in Eastern Ukraine for Easter

The Kremlin announced on Saturday that Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a ceasefire in Eastern Ukraine for Easter, with Russian forces halting combat operations starting at 6 PM today until April 21.

The Kremlin stated that Russian troops would be on high alert to counter any potential ceasefire violations.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Putin of trying to “manipulate human lives,” noting an air alert across Ukraine due to the presence of Russian drones in the airspace.
