The Lebanese Armed Forces have received the third shipment of fuel donated by the State of Qatar as part of Doha’s ongoing support for Lebanon’s military in 2025.

In a statement published on the social platform X, the Qatari Embassy in Beirut confirmed the arrival of the shipment, noting that the grant comes as part of Qatar’s continued efforts to strengthen the operational capacity of the Lebanese army amid ongoing national challenges. The statement reaffirmed Qatar’s steadfast commitment to supporting Lebanon and its people.

The Lebanese Army also issued a statement confirming receipt of the shipment, which was delivered through the Qatar Fund for Development, and expressed gratitude for the assistance. The fuel grant is expected to help alleviate operational pressures on the army and enhance its ability to fulfill its duties under difficult economic and security conditions.

This initiative reflects broader Qatari efforts to support Lebanon’s key institutions and foster regional stability through targeted development and humanitarian aid.
