Hamas Rejects Israel’s Expanded Gaza Operation Plan

Hamas has firmly rejected a newly proposed Israeli military plan to expand its operations in the Gaza Strip, warning that such a move would eliminate any chance of a lasting ceasefire and further worsen the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

The Israeli government recently unveiled a large-scale military strategy, known as the “Gideon Chariots Operation,” aimed at achieving full control over Gaza. The plan reportedly includes relocating most Palestinian civilians to southern areas and placing humanitarian aid distribution under the supervision of private companies. The proposal has drawn widespread international criticism.

In response, Hamas labeled the plan a serious escalation and announced it would not participate in any ceasefire negotiations while what it described as Israel’s “starvation war” continues. The movement insists that any agreement must include a permanent ceasefire and a full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza.
