Brazil: Landslides kill nine people

The landslides were triggered by heavy rains in the southeastern state of Minas Gerais, firefighters said.

Six people were killed in the town of Ibatinga in Minas Gerais state as a result of the heavy rains.

Rescuers found two bodies and are searching for three missing people, and one body was found in the nearby town of Santana do Paraiso.
