Explosions occurred in Srinagar, the Indian-administered part of Kashmir, following the announcement of a ceasefire between India and Pakistan.

A local news agency reported that “the sound of explosions was heard in Jammu, with projectiles seen in the sky.”

An Indian government source accused Pakistan of violating the ceasefire, while the Minister of Education in Pakistani-administered Kashmir stated that skirmishes continue along the Line of Control.

Both India and Pakistan had announced an immediate ceasefire after days of exchanging attacks.
