The Houthi group in Yemen has announced the targeting of Ben Gurion International Airport with a ballistic missile, temporarily suspending air traffic at the airport.

The Israeli occupation army confirmed the interception of the missile over Israeli airspace after it was launched from Yemen.

In a statement issued by the Houthis, the group mentioned that the operation was carried out using a hypersonic ballistic missile.

The Israeli occupation also reported detecting the missile launch and activating sirens in several areas of the occupied territories in response to the incident.
