The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Monday the downing of 220 Ukrainian drones in a single day, while Kyiv reported that Russia launched intensive attacks using 355 drones and 9 missiles.

Ukrainian officials stated that Russia carried out its most intense drone attack since the beginning of the war.

The spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force confirmed that the attack that occurred late Sunday was one of the largest waves of Russian bombardment.

Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump described Russian President Vladimir Putin as “mad,” criticizing the escalation of bombings at a time when the United States is seeking to achieve peace.
