A young man was fatally stabbed in the southwestern department of Landes, while a young woman was killed in Paris after being struck by a car amid the chaotic street celebrations.
According to French media, fires were set at barricades and at least one vehicle near the Parc des Princes stadium, prompting intervention by fire crews to contain the blaze.
In total, police detained 559 individuals in various incidents linked to the unrest. Large gatherings of PSG supporters in several cities escalated into clashes with security forces, prompting reinforced police deployments to restore order.
