Elon Musk Calls for Trump’s Removal, Urges Vice President J.D. Vance to Assume Presidency

Billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk on Thursday publicly called for the removal of U.S. President Donald Trump, suggesting that Vice President J.D. Vance should take over the presidency amid escalating tensions over a proposed tax reform bill.

In a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, Musk wrote: “I believe President Trump should be removed from office, and J.D. Vance should take his place,” without offering further details.

The statement marks a significant escalation in the ongoing public rift between Trump and Musk, which has intensified in recent weeks following the administration’s push for a new tax bill reportedly affecting major technology firms, including Musk’s own businesses.
