China’s exports to the United States jumped by 32.4% month-on-month in June, signaling a rebound in bilateral trade following high-level discussions between the two countries last month.
According to data released by the General Administration of Customs of China, the country exported goods worth $38.2 billion to the U.S. in June, up from $28.2 billion in May.
By comparison, total exports to the U.S. stood at $33 billion in April, according to figures cited by Agence France-Presse (AFP).
The sharp increase reflects renewed trade momentum between the world’s two largest economies, amid diplomatic efforts to ease tensions and strengthen economic cooperation.
