Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and President Joseph Aoun reiterated their rejection of any foreign interference, criticizing Iranian statements opposing plans to disarm Hezbollah.

During his visit to Beirut, Iran’s National Security Council chief Ali Larijani renewed Tehran’s opposition to the plan but pledged to respect any Lebanese decision made in consultation with the “resistance.”
