White House unveils Trump’s plan to end Gaza war and rebuild the Strip

The U.S. administration on Monday revealed a 20-point plan presented by former President Donald Trump to end the war in Gaza.

The proposal calls for an immediate halt to military operations, including air and artillery strikes, and a gradual withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces in exchange for the release of hostages.

It envisions reconstruction of Gaza through a non-political Palestinian transitional authority under the supervision of an international “Peace Council” chaired by Trump, with participation from global figures, including former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair.

The plan also includes large-scale humanitarian aid, infrastructure rehabilitation, and the deployment of a temporary international stabilization force with Arab and international backing.

Other provisions include the release of Palestinian prisoners, amnesty for Hamas members who lay down their arms, and the creation of a special economic zone.

The proposal states that some measures will begin even if Hamas refuses or delays its response, limited to areas deemed “free of terrorism,” according to the plan’s wording.

The White House said Trump “strongly believes” in the plan’s chances of success, describing it as an opportunity to end the war and open a political horizon for Palestinian self-determination and peaceful coexistence.
