The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced a net profit of more than $9 million for the 2023–2024 financial year, marking its first surplus in several years.
The announcement was made during CAF’s 47th Ordinary General Assembly held in Kinshasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, in the presence of CAF President Patrice Motsepe.
CAF reported total revenues of $166.42 million for the fiscal year, noting that its main spending priorities included $81 million in competition prize money, $19 million for tournament organization, $35 million for football development, and $21 million for governance and administration.
