Sharm El-Sheikh Hosts Historic Summit to End Gaza War and Launch Reconstruction Plan

Egypt’s Red Sea resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh is hosting the “Sharm El-Sheikh Peace Summit” on Monday, co-chaired by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi and U.S. President Donald Trump, with the participation of more than 20 world leaders.

The summit aims to end the war in Gaza, advance comprehensive peace efforts, and open a new chapter of regional security and stability, in line with the current U.S. administration’s vision for promoting peace and resolving global conflicts.

Attending the summit are several Arab and international leaders, including Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and the UK Prime Minister, along with senior representatives from the United Nations, the Arab League, and the European Union.
