The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Thursday that the group stage draws for the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa, on November 3.

CAF said in a statement that the qualified clubs will be seeded into four pots according to the confederation’s ranking system, with the group stage fixtures to be confirmed immediately after the draw ceremony.

The top two teams from each group will advance to the quarter-finals, followed by a separate draw to determine the knockout stage matchups in both competitions.
